The design process typically takes up to 5 business days from the date we receive your proof of payment and photos/materials needed. The lead time may vary depending on the level of detail and the number of pages required.
We understand that minor adjustments may be necessary. You will have the opportunity to review and request up to 1 round of design revisions at no additional cost. However, major design changes or additional design elements may incur a fee, which will be quoted and agreed upon before proceeding with the changes.
Standard photobooks feature a traditional binding method, allowing the book to stand upright. They are printed on double-sided paper and have a foldable magazine-style layout. Lay Flat photobooks use advanced binding techniques that allow the pages to lay flat when opened, creating a seamless display without any gutter loss. They are printed on high-quality thick pages, providing a luxurious and high-end finish.
Yes, you can add extra pages to your photobook for an additional fee. The number of additional pages allowed depends on the photobook type. Standard photobooks can have a maximum of 100 pages, while Lay Flat photobooks can have a maximum of 80 pages. Please refer to our price list for the specific cost of adding extra pages.
You can send your files and images to us via wetransfer.com. Simply visit the website, select the option to send files, and upload your images. Enter our email address (info@boujeebooks.co.za) as the recipient, provide your email address in the appropriate field, and add a short message if desired. Alternatively, you can also send your files via Dropbox, WhatsApp, or Google Drive.
The printing process typically takes 5-10 business days, depending on the size of your order. Once your photobook is ready for shipment, delivery usually takes 2-3 business days, depending on your location.
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or returns for custom-designed photobooks. However, if there is an issue with your photobook upon delivery, please contact us within 3 days of receipt, and we will work with you to find a satisfactory resolution.
We accept various payment methods, including bank transfers and electronic payments. Full payment is required before the design process begins, and any additional costs must be paid before printing and delivery.
Yes, we offer international shipping. Shipping and handling fees will be calculated based on your location and added to the final cost on the invoice.
Yes, we offer Parent Photobooks that are designed to match your main photobook. They are available in a 20×20 cm size and include 20 spreads (40 pages) in a lay flat format. If your main photobook already features embossing, you do not need to pay for embossing again for the Parent Photobooks. Only available with wedding photobooks ordered.
While our photobooks are crafted from premium materials, they require special attention to ensure their longevity. Please take note of the following care instructions:
Optimal Storage: Avoid exposing your photobook to hot, damp, or humid environments. Extremes in temperature and moisture can cause paper, a natural material, to warp. Never leave your photobook inside a car, as it is especially susceptible to such conditions.
Closed When Not in Use: To protect your photobook, always keep it closed when not in use. This practice safeguards its pages and binding.
Avoid Heavy Stacking: Do not stack heavy items or other books on top of your photobook. Doing so may damage the spine and compromise its structural integrity.
Use Protective Packaging: For extended preservation, consider storing your photobook in a protective box or its original packaging. This will shield it from dust, light exposure, and potential physical harm.
